Do you know what a Data Subject Access Request is? Would you recognise one if you were to stumble upon it? would your staff know what to do?

Data Subject Access Requests are the major cause of complaints that the ICO receives.

Following on from Module 2 “The 8 rights of an individual”, in this module we look at those rights from the business perspective and obligations. This Module is suitable for all levels within an organisation in particular Line Managers, Customer Services, HR, IT and Data Governance.   If you are new to GDPR we would recommend taking Module 0 – “GDPR Essentials”, Module 1 – “The 7 Principles & the 6 Lawful Basis” and Module 2 – “The 8 Rights of an individual” before taking this module

Training Content:
  • Revisiting Basic Terminology
  • Some Facts (From Reliable Sources)
  • The 8 Rights of an Individual
  • SARs – Who Needs to Know & How to Submit Them
  • The SAR Process

Once completed you will have a clear understanding on the correct steps to be taken to address a Data Subject Access Request and how to practically apply them within your work/business environment.
